Today we had a great time visiting the factory of REAL Aluminium in Gloucester.

Having installed REAL since it's inception we are not surprised that they were this year's winner's of National Fenestration Award for Aluminium company 2016.

The secret is out. Today we were officially invited into partnership with Rationel. Competent Installation Teams

Make sure you employ competent, qualified tradesmen. Unfortunately the double glazing industry has received some bad press, with "cowboy" builders and installers causing damage to property and using some very unsafe practices. But the industry is working hard to make these stories ones of the past. To avoid these pitfalls, ensure you employ installers who are part of an easily recognised national registration body. We at Fenestra Glazing ensure our installers regularly update their training and qualifications. We don't rely on our installers' qualifications from era's gone by. We make sure our installation teams are fully competent, with an emphasis on continued professional development and qualifications updated at least every five years. We ensure our industry knowledge is up-to-date, and attend regional and national events ensuring our technical knowledge. Creating Stunning Views in Blagdon Hill

Today we are enjoying the lovely weather and views in Blagdon Hill. An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Blackdown Hills, just outside Taunton. You can get a taster of the stunning views that will be seen from every aspect of this converted chapel. Before During installation Installed and prepped for render Rendered and ready for painting Matthew is installing the rest of the windows and french doors, having started phase one last year. We'll endeavour to add some more pictures tomorrow, as we work our way around the house. Picture shows new window installed, but shows where the secondary glazing and sound tiles still in place, depicting the bulk savings which the homeowners will now be able to enjoy. The homeowners have chosen triple glazing, which will give them a significant reduction in the noise from the busy road. It also means they no longer need to have acoustic tiles and secondary glazing on top of their original double glazing shown
